VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. - UPDATE 1:19 A.M.:
A fire burning near the Ventura / L.A. County line in Piru is now 100% contained.
Firefighters were able to stop all forward progression, keeping the fire at 6 acres.
Fire officials offficially declared the containment just after midnight Thursday.
Firefighters are currently battling a brush fire in Piru.
At least three acres have already been burned.
Both the Ventura County Fire Department and the Los Angeles County Fire Department are working on containing the brush fire that is located in the area of Highway 126 and Torrey Road.
According to officials, no homes or structures are threatened at the moment.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
According to early reports suggests that downed power lines might have sparked the fire.
So Cal Edison is also on scene.
