Man taken to hospital for stab wounds after fight at 7-Eleven in Ventura

VENTURA, Calif. - A man was taken to a hospital after being stabbed in a fight at a 7-Eleven in Ventura Friday night.

The Ventura Police Command Center received a call just before 10:30 p.m. about a physical fight between two people at a 7-Eleven store located at 6320 Bristol Road. 

One person was seen with a knife.

Officers learned that the suspect described as a Hispanic male adult in his 60s had left the scene in an unknown direction.

The suspect was also described to be wearing a gray USA hat and black clothing.

According to police, the victim was uncooperative. 

The victim received non life-threatening stab wounds to his arms as well as cuts to his face. He was taken to a local hospital and received treatment for his injuries.
