Oxnard restaurant slapped with 45-day suspension from alcohol sales

OXNARD, Calif - The California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control posted a 45-day notice of suspension at an ABC licensed restaurant in Oxnard on Thursday.

The Notice of Suspension was given to El Tenampa Cantina on 1325 South Oxnard Boulevard in Oxnard.

Undercover agents visited the location numerous times during an investigation and discovered violations that involved illegal drink solicitations.

The business is now prohibited from selling, serving and allowing consumption of alcoholic beverages during the suspension period.

The license is also placed on probation for the next three years and if any similar violations occur, the ABC has the authority to revoke the license altogether.
