13-year-old found with loaded guns arrested in Oxnard

OXNARD, Calif. - Oxnard police arrested a 13-year-old who was found with two loaded firearms in Oxnard Saturday night.

Officers were in the area of the 5200 block of S. J Street on an unrelated call for service when they witnessed what they call suspicious activity going on in an alley at approximately 7:22 p.m. 

The officers approached a teen who was found to have a shortened shotgun and a handgun concealed in the waistband area.

The juvenile was arrested and could face charges related to the illegal possession of firearms.
