VENTURA, Calif. - For more than two decades Tina's Ports of Paradise has been performing at the Ventura County Fair.
The group performed again on Wednesday and Sunday on the Seabreeze Stage near the entrance to Seaside Park in Ventura.
Fans came out in force to support the group's namesake Tina Vainuku who didn't miss the show despite battling cancer.
The Ventura County Fairgrounds stage did not have a wheelchair ramp, so she sang along with the group just offstage.
Some of the dancers are her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Some former students returned to perform solos.
Tina's Ports of Paradise holds lessons in Ventura and Goleta.
The group will perform again on Tuesday from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Another fun fair event drawing crowds takes place at Porker Flats. That is where the All Alaskan Racing Pigs race several times a day.
All of the entertainment at the fair with the ocean air is free with the price of admission.
