So Cal Edison shuts off power to customers West of Goleta, due to fire risk

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Southern California Edison Co. has decided to shut off power Saturday evening to customers from west of Goleta up the coast to Jalama Beach County Park.

So Cal Edison says it conducted a "Public Safety Power Shutoff" for 632 customers affected so far.







There is no set time on when the power outage will finish, So Cal Edison says it all depends on the weather patterns; winds, high temperatures and low humidity.
