VENTURA, Calif. - Thomas Fire survivors heard from Southern California Edison workers about their efforts to prevent future wildfires.
SCE hosted the public meeting at the Poinsettia Pavilion on Aug. 28.
It included an open house full of safety information, and a presentation.
They talked about wildfire mitigation plans and efforts to shutoff power to prevent fires caused by power equipment.
Many people in the audience lost their homes in the fire.
