Santa Maria Police search for a missing teenage girl

She was last seen Wednesday night

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Santa Maria Police Department has asked for the public's help in finding a missing teenage girl they suspect may be a victim of sexual exploitation.

13-year-old Serenity Chavez was reported missing on Wednesday night around 8:45 p.m. 

She is described as 5 feet tall, and weighs 190 pounds. Police say she has black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a pair of black leggings, a gray shirt, and a black jacket.
