ORCUTT, Calif. - According to the Pacific Gas & Electric online electric outage map, about 2,500 customers in southern Santa Maria and Orcutt were without power Wednesday morning.
The outage began just before 10 a.m.
According to the PG&E website, a crew was at the scene to investigate the cause of the outage at around 10:45 a.m.
Joe Nightingale Elementary School in Orcutt is currently without power, according to a faculty member that contacted our newsroom.
By 12:15 p.m., the majority of customers had their power restored.
