The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office has released the names of 27 people as of Tuesday. Six of the 33 bodies recovered remain unnamed as the coroner's bureau works to match the DNA with samples provided by family members. Those six people are expected to be identified later this week, according to the sheriff's office.
The remains of the 34th person who died in the Conception tragedy have yet to be located. The search for that person resumed on Tuesday after being suspended due to weather and safety concerns.
Boat salvage operations are expected to resume on Wednesday.
