SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Cachuma Lake received some much needed water following Friday's monster rain storm.
The rain is helping to replenish the reservoir that has been near empty for much of the last year.
On Thursday, Cachuma Lake was at 17.8 percent capacity. As of Saturday afternoon, that number has nearly doubled to 34.4 percent.
The reservoir picked up enough water to raise the level over 25 feet. Saturday, water levels sat at 696.38 feet versus Thursday's levels of 671.12 feet.
