Two arrested in connection to making counterfeit money in Paso Robles

PASO ROBLES, Calif. - Paso Robles police have identified a suspect who passed a fake $100 bill at a shop Thursday. 

Ryan McGovran, 25, is suspected of passing a counterfeit $100 bill at Alliance Board Shop, according to officials. 

McGovran had a motorhome in Paso Robles where he lived with Devyn Harmon, 27. McGovran had a no-bail warrant out for his arrest from San Luis Obispo County. 

Harmon also had a warrant out for his arrest from Tulare County and one from San Luis Obispo County.

Detectives found McGovran and Harmon in their motorhome Thursday morning. Both were arrested without incident.

During a search of their home, detectives found evidence linking the two to manufacturing fake US currency.

Police credit the community for all the tips regarding this case which helped to identify the suspect.
