ISLA VISTA, Calif. - Three teenage boys were stabbed in Isla Vista Wednesday night. It is unclear whether the teenage victims were Isla Vista residents or visitors to the area.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office responded to the incident at about 9:00 p.m. in the 800 block of Camino Del Sur near Estero Park after dispatch received a report of several people fighting with two that were in need of medical help.
Ab 18-year-old from Santa Barbara and a 14-year-old from Goleta were found lying on the sidewalk with multiple stab wounds.
The two victims were rushed to the hospital. The Sheriff's Office says that soon after, deputies learned that a 17-year-old teenage boy from Goleta suffering from stab wounds had been driven to the hospital by friends.
All three victims are recovering from their injuries, according to the Sheriff's Office, but their exact condition is unknown at this time.
The Sheriff's Office says that the suspect or suspects ran away before deputies arrived on scene and have no description of them at this time.
