Santa Barbara photographer arrested on child pornography charges denied request for phone

Wanted phone, internet to apply for jobs

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - A freelance photographer from Santa Barbara that is accused of soliciting illegal sexual acts and sending explicit images to minors appeared in court on Tuesday.

Zachary Warburg, 28, requested permission to have access to a cell phone and internet so that he could apply for jobs. 

Warburg is not allowed to have a phone or use the internet per the terms of his bail. On Tuesday, Judge Monica Marlow denied Warburg's request. 

For the second time, Marlow has also denied all media requests for video and still pictures related to this case.

Warburg is expected to appear in court again in June.
