Oxnard man arrested in connection to county-wide burglary spree

OXNARD, Calif. - An Oxnard man was arrested Friday in connection to a string of commercial burglaries at multiple Ventura County restaurants.

Nathan Knuppel, 41, of Oxnard was arrested at around 5:30 a.m. in Camarillo.

Oxnard police, Ventura police and the Ventura County Auto Theft Task Force was on the scene and observed Knuppel committing a commercial burglary on the 1500 block of Flynn Road.

The arrest was the result of an investigation into multiple commercial burglaries at restaurants in Port Hueneme, Oxnard and Ventura.

Knuppel was arrested and booked into the Ventura County Main Jail. The investigation into previous burglaries is ongoing.
