Man stabbed multiple times in Oxnard, suspect at large

OXNARD, Calif. - --UPDATE--

A stabbing victim is in stable condition Tuesday morning after he was attacked in Oxnard Monday night.

The victim was stabbed multiple times and is recovering at the Ventura County Medical Center after undergoing emergency surgery, police said.

Police are now searching for a suspect they describe as a 19-year-old Hispanic male, 5-feet 8-inches tall with a medium build, wearing black shorts and black shoes.

The incident was reported just before 11:00 p.m. Monday on the 2900 block of Saviers Road.

Oxnard police are investigating a stabbing that has left one man with significant injuries Monday night, according to police.

It happened just before 11:00 p.m. Monday on the 2900 block Saviers Road and Channel Islands Boulevard.

The victim in his 20's was taken to the hospital and underwent emergency surgeries. His condition is unknown at this time.

Police have not released a description of the attackers they are looking for.

The events that led up to the stabbing is still under investigation.
