Lompoc city truck stolen over the weekend

Pickup left abandoned in an alley

LOMPOC, Calif. - Lompoc Parks Division says a city truck is back home Monday after it was reported stolen.

City officials say the truck was stolen from Ryon Park on Sunday evening.

Around 6 p.m. the truck was stolen when the driver had stepped away to complete a task. A few hours later, Lompoc Police found the truck abandoned in an alley near North V and W streets.

The truck was not damaged but items belonging to the driver are missing.

Lompoc police are investigating the theft, and anyone with information on the incident or suspect is asked to call detectives at 805-736-2341 or to report the information anonymously through the police department’s mobile app.
