OXNARD, Calif. - Oxnard Shores artists invited visitors to an annual art walk on Saturday.
More than forty area artists put their work on display during the third annual Art Walk @The Shores.
Volunteers handed out maps on the corner of W. Wooley and Harbor Blvd.
They visited makeshift galleries set up in front and back yards.
The art included water colors by Shannon Celia, rock art by Natalie Hernandez and seaglass art by Dr. Jack Sierad.
Most of the art was for sale.
Artist Susan Seaberry decided to visit artists rather than show off her own.
"It is a sense of community, it is so nice that we have so many artists around us, that is what the world needs is more art, you know dealing with all the beauty in the world and imagination, I love it," said Seaberry.
The show was sponsored by RK Real Estate Partners, Mandalay Shores Community Association and Ron and Donna Avery.
