SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The Santa Barbara Sea Glass & Ocean Arts Festival is a unique art show and workshop held in Santa Barbara every year.
The festival was held at the Earl Warren Showgrounds over the weekend with dozens of artists and craft makers that specialize in one-of-a-kind sea glass jewelry and ocean-themed artwork.
The Santa Barbara festival is one of only three similar shows that take place along the west coast, but the Santa Barbara event is as unique as the glass treasures found inside. The festival focuses on education and workshops with special speakers, in addition to the trade show offerings.
Hundreds of hobbyists and shoppers looking for unique jewelry and artwork filled the show over the weekend.
Another sea glass festival in Cayucos is slated to take place in March 2020.
