SOLVANG, Calif. - Solvang got quite a bit of star power early Wednesday afternoon when the former California "Governator" Arnold Schwarzenegger rolled into town.
The Hollywood action star spent 45 minutes at Cafe Dolce located at 475 1st Street, took photos, and held a lighthearted conversation with shop employees about watches, according to Sam Hamad, owner of Cafe Dolce.
The shop has been around for years and serves Handlebar Coffee Roasters coffee and Doc Bernstein's ice cream. And if you must know, the Tinseltown actor ordered an espresso macchiato and mint chocolate ice cream on a waffle cone with a cherry on top.
Hamad said Schwarzenegger found the shop on Google and Yelp, and hopes the Hollywood legend likes his ice cream and coffee establishment so much that--he'll be back.
Schwarzenegger was visiting Solvang with friends.
