The Foresters will open NBC World Series playing on Wednesday August 4th vs. the Casa Grande (AZ) Cotton Kings. The Foresters will play their second game on Thursday August 5th. 2010 National Baseball Congress World Series
Since 1935, the NBC World Series has brought together the best summer-ball, semipro, and amateur baseball teams to battle in Lawrence- Dumont Stadium for the coveted NBC World Series Championship.
The Foresters have earned invitations to the event for 18 straight years, the longest run of participation in the tournament's history. The Foresters won the NBC World Series in 2006 and 2008 and finished as the runner up in 2003 and 2005. They have finished in the top four each year since 2003.
Games at the World Series are scheduled throughout the day. We will post information as soon as we can and in real time on the Foresters website. Including links to Foresters game stories and box scores that will be added as the tournament continues.
