Miss Santa Barbara County 2010, Carley Ryckman!!!

UCSB Student Crowned Miss Santa Barbara

On Saturday January 23, 2010, UCSB Freshman Carley Ryckman captured the title of Miss Santa Barbara County 2010. She will compete for the title of Miss California in July with the hopes of moving on to compete for the Miss America title. Carley won the top talent award for her Irish Dance performance to “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” as well as the community service award for her work with at-risk and underserved youth throughout the community. Carley is a new member of the UCSB Novice Women’s Rowing Team. She is thrilled to represent her school and the Santa Barbara community this year.

Congrats to ALL the women! My daughter was so excited to meet the new Miss Ventura County. And she got her autograph. Everyone was nice.
