Kiara Nowlin, the 13 year old Ventura County defending world champion has captured gold again for the US Gymnastics team. Kiara competed in 2009 World Age Games in St. Petersburg Russia last month, and won gold in both Tumbling and Double Mini Trampoline in the 13-14 Girls division. As part of the US Gymnastics Tumbling and Trampoline team, Kiara traveled to Russia to represent the USA. Athletes from 39 countries competed in week long event. Kiara was the gold medal winner at the 2007 World Age Games in Tumbling 11-12 Girls in Quebec City, CN. Kiara is a high school freshman, an honor student, as well as a nationally ranked cheerleader.
