I write to you in the name of our Heavenly Father. These past few days has left the people of the 2 Samoa's and other areas of the South Pacific with great loss. Homes, businesses, schools, buildings and most of all FAMILIES have been lost and destroyed from Tuesday's earthquake/tsunami. Many Samoans who have left the territory came to the mainland for better opportunities for their families, but although away from our home, American Samoa, we still feel the hurt and the loss of those who are fighting to get through such a disaster. So, I write to you KEYT news, that this Saturday, October 3 at 5:30am at The First Samoan Congregational Church at 250 E. Collins, Oxnard, CA 93036 will be having a prayer service conducted by Rev. Gafoa Pulu, Jr. and his congregation. We invite everyone from around the county to join us as we pray and seek GOD's abundant love through this hard time for our people of American Samoa/Samoa. This service was to take place with our district churches in Los Angeles, but due to far distance, the Samoan Congregational Church here in Oxnard will conduct their own service at the same time. Also, KEYT, we invite you, as we know your schedules are busy, but we invite you to attend and help us get the word out via live news to join us in prayer for our people fighting this devastating disaster.
