i am writing to you because i am completly desparate for help!! I am 31 yrs. old and thought i had my life figured out..... thern i became pregnant. i have been strugleing with fibromyaldia for about 6 years but when i was pregnant the pain increased 10 x's. kingston is now 10 months old and the pain remains.finding ways to provide (with his father nowhere to be found) have been terrifying!!!! i was contacted on line by a man who said he got my info from monster.com. he said he sold art in the uk and had buyers in the us however it was taking months to get the money orders approved and if i would be the middle man i could keep 10 percent.( I KNOW IT SOUNDS FISHY) again i was sooooo desparate to provide just the bare neccessiites I bought this b.s. so i went to CBC federal credit union where i have had my car loan through for the past 3 years. I gave the bank money orders from this mans client for about $3,000 i asked them to send a money gram to the adress he gave me and kept the 10 percent like he said.
CBC did that with no hesitation. A week later I was sent more money orders this time worth about 10 grand. Again, i went to CBC credit union gave them the money orders, asked them to make new money ordes for the uk address he gave me, minus my 10 percent. This time the branch manager was helping me and she said they had to put a hold on it. I came back a week later and the bank said they were washed and i was responsible for the 1st set of money orders. I told CBC that i didnt have that kind of money nor did i know ANYONE who could loan it to me or co-sign on my car loan to refinance it. (those were the 2 choices they gave me) i asked the bank to please give me some time to figure it out. a few weeks later my 5 month old took a dive off my bed into a metal bucket ripping out his bottom gum and 2 brand new teeth!!! i called the bank again asking for some more time so i could focus on helping kingston heal. They said fine, no problem. At this pont i had also fallen 2 months beind in my car payment (i only had $1500 before it was paids off) the bank left me a message to call them, I didnt. 2 days later at 2am they came to repo it. my sister woke up and tryed to stop them. They said that i was behind 3 months. (Which i wasnt) they said if i wanted the car back i would have to give them $ 500 plus i would owe them $6000. Before cbc took my car, my bank account said - $5000 after they re-posed the car, it said - $1500. I'm writing to you because i feel the bank should be resposible.
