In coincidence with Santa Barbara's 1st Thursday program, local artist Morris B. Squire will be featured tonight at Casa Magazine's gallery downtown. Beginning at 5:00 PM, doors will open to the public for an evening of live music, refreshments, and exquisite art. Squire will be showcasing a captivating ensemble of lacquer paintings entitled "World Perceptions," which aims to depict that within each and every person there is something tremendously beautiful.
People of all ages are invited to enjoy the cross-cultural art, which is inspired by Squire's many world travels. The gallery will be open until 8:00 PM, whereupon visitors are encouraged to explore 1st Thursday's other attractions.
