From the noon time press conference at Earl Warren showgrounds the fire bomber drops fire retardant on the Mission Canyon hills. Our house is at the start of the Tunnel Road Trailhead and we are so thankful for all the fire fighters . . . both on the ground and in the air.

If we can spend billions to fight senseless wars around the world -making US citizens more and more subject to retaliations because of some idiotic government decisions- why can't we redirect our interest into safety health and welfare for everyone?
