We had our first Artist Reception Feb 6th, it was well attended inspite of the rainy evening. Visiting Sculptor, Jorge Fernandez's sculpted people are mythical in nature: his archetypical figures are carved in classical form. Each piece encapsulates intense human emotions ranging from joy,curiosity,suffering and ecstasy. Patterns painted on the body endow the figure with deep levels of meaning. Andrea Beloff is the featured collage artist for Feb, this is a rare opportunity to see so much of her Original work!
