Footage from the evacuation at Mission Canyon and Foothill on Friday morning at 8:30 am. Everything was pretty orderly. Lots of fire trucks going in both directions, and a lot of people trying in vain to get up to their houses in the Tunnel Road area. It's totally blocked off that way - nobody but firefighters getting through.

its horrible to see my hometown in this state. i moved for college and since then the GAP fire and TEA fire have occured. thanks for the video because my family is unsure about the house. and this video gives a little hope.

Thank you for posting, those of us from out of town with relatives on Foothill really appreciate this insight...

I feel so helpless, wish there was something I could do to help. I can only pray for all your safety!! God Bless

Hi, having grown up in Santa Barbara and experienced numerous previous fires, it is frightening to see this happen again and have no national news coverage available to us who are now out-of-state. Thank you for your short video.
