...Wind Advisory in effect from noon today to 10 PM PDT this evening... The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a Wind Advisory for the central coast. This advisory is in effect from noon today to 10 PM PDT this evening.
Winds and timing...gusty northwest to north winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph will occur from this afternoon through late this evening.
Impacts...driving will be difficult along Highway 1 and 101... especially for drivers of high profile vehicles. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph or greater are expected.

Wind Advisories and Red Flag Warnings will highlight our weather through mid-week, especially across the higher elevations.

It will be another summer like day this afternoon. However, gusty winds will impact some areas this afternoon and evening.

A strong northwest flow pattern will bring us a windy and dry forecast...with Fire Weather Watches in effect by the middle of the work week.
