SANTA MARIA, Calif. - A flash flood evacuation warning for people living in the Alamo Fire burn area has been lifted.
The Santa Barbara County Office of Emergency Management lifted the warning just after 8:00 pm Sunday night.
Wind and rain remains possible in the burn area through the night.
People living in the Alamo Fire burn area are advised to remain alert to possible changing conditions.
Residents near the Alamo Fire burn area under an evacuation warning after a storm system rolled through bringing possible flash floods.
The Alamo Fire burned thousands of acres near Santa Maria earlier in the summer.
Residents are advised to be ready to evacuate at a moment's notice. Gather your family and pets and any important documents and essential items in the event you are forced to evacuate.
