Woman arrested in connection to Lompoc hit and run

Suspect hit three pedestrians and fire hydrant

LOMPOC, Calif - A Lompoc woman was arrested after she crashed her vehicle into a crowded intersection and injured three people Friday afternoon in Lompoc.

Lauren Novembri, 46, was arrested after she fled the scene of the crash.

Novembri faces possible felony charges for DUI causing injury, failure to stop at an injury crash and evading a peace officer.

Three pedestrians were injured in the crash at the intersection of Central Avenue and H Street. The three injured were taken to local hospitals for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

At least one person was injured after being hit by a car in Lompoc Friday afternoon.

The car also hit a fire hydrant, sending water shooting into the air and flooding neighboring streets.

The crash happened just after 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Central Avenue and H Street.

A person of interest was detained at the scene.

There were several people walking across H street at the time and the number and degree of injuries is still being determined.

The crash is under investigation and we will have more details as they become available.
