SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. - The California Highway Patrol has identified the man killed in a car crash in San Luis Obispo County on Sunday afternoon as Artemio V. Pacheco, 28, of Shandon

CHP said Pacheco died from blunt force trauma after the Fold Expedition he was riding in as a passenger lost control and rolled over multiple times.

The driver, 26-year-old Eusebio Ruizluis, was intoxicated at the time of the crash according to CHP. Ruizluis was traveling northbound on Creston Road, north of state Route 41, at an unknown speed when he made an unsafe turn toward the east shoulder of Creston Road, according to the CHP traffic collision report. That's when he lost control of the car.

The Expedition came to rest on the east shoulder of Creston Road on its wheels. Ruizluis was taken to the hospital to receive medical treatment for minor scrapes and cuts, and later booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail for felony DUI and felony vehicular manslaughter.
