MONTECITO, Calif. -

Unless you were named Kelsie Sampson, points were hard to come by in both the women's and men's basketball games at Westmont College. But both Warriors teams did score a home victory over The Master's College.

Sampson poured in a game-high 26 points as the No. 12 Westmont defeated the #9 Mustangs 59-54  in a key women's contest in the Golden State Athletic Conference. The Warriors are 3-2 in league.

Over on the men's side, Westmont grinds out a 58-50 victory over The Master's. Marcus Farrand scored a game-high 12 points as the Warriors improved to 2-3 in the GSAC.

Besides Sampson's 26 points, no other player in either game scored more than 14 points.
