UCSB's Gabe Vincent to undergo season-ending ACL surgery

Vincent suffers torn ACL in left knee

UC SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - UCSB's top player Gabe Vincent suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in Thursday's 79-53 loss to Cal State Fullerton.

The junior will have season-ending surgery in a few weeks and will be out of action for at least 6-8 months.

UCSB's leading scorer hurt himself on defense after attempting to block a shot late in the first half.

This is the worst setback in a nightmare season for the Gauchos who have lost 17 of 20 games this year.
