Dons win at San Marcos in water polo

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - After going scoreless in the first quarter, Santa Barbara outscored San Marcos 8-0 in the next two quarters and beat the home Royals 9-4.

Santa Barbara's Jacob Castillo scored three of the Dons five second quarter goals as Santa Barbara grabbed a 5-1 halftime lead.

The Dons scored 3 goals in the third quarter to open up their lead to 8-1.

Santa Barbara goalie Hunter Brownell made seven saves in the game.

The Dons play at Dos Pueblos on Thursday evening.
