Stormo leads San Marcos into first CIF Semifinal since 1992

San Marcos finally punches their ticket to CIF Semifinals

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - San Marcos has finally got past the CIF quarterfinal round.

After losing three times in the quarters since 2013, the Royals punched their ticket to their first semifinal appearance since 1992 as they held off Cypress 76-67 in division 2A.

6'9 senior Jackson Stormo scored a game-high 30 points, Stef Korfas added 17 and Nate Fay tallied 11 as the Royals made it 14 straight wins as they improve to 24-6 on the year.

San Marcos will host Muir on Friday, February 23 at 7pm.
