Stormo leads San Marcos into CIF Playoffs

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - San Marcos is far from a one-man show in boys basketball but 6'9 senior center Jackson Stormo presents a big challenge for the Royals opponents.

After an off-season in which he lost 45 pounds, Stormo was easily the most dominant player in the Channel League.

He led the league champion Royals in scoring, rebounding, blocks and shooting percentage.

For the season Stormo is averaging 16.8 points per game while shooting 71 percent from the floor. He grabs 12.7 rebounds a contest and blocks 2.7 shots.

San Marcos went 8-0 in league and they are 21-6 overall. They enter the CIF-Division 2A playoffs riding an 11-game win streak.
