GOLETA, Calif. -

San Marcos was hot from the three-point line while Dos Pueblos was cold from everywhere as the Royals wiped out the Chargers 53-34 at the Thunderhut.

The Royals were 7-for-14 from beyond the arc and they held DP to just 5 points in the third quarter as they built up a 35-19 lead heading into the final quarter.

Elijah Johnson scored a game-high 16 points.

Dos Pueblos upset the Royals just over two weeks ago on a buzzer-beating layup. San Marcos is now 3-3 in the Channel League while DP slips to 3-4.
