Royal comeback: San Marcos hoops ends game on 14-0 run to stun Buena

San Marcos celebrates comeback win...

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Trailing 66-58 with just under four minutes left, San Marcos outscored Buena 14-0 to end the game as they won 72-66 in a battle for first place in the Channel League.

Jackson Stormo started the run with a bucket inside, the Royals immediately stole the ball and David Frohling's layup cut it to four.

Stef Korfas was fouled next trip down the floor and sank two free throws to make it 66-64.

The Royals then grabbed the lead for good on a three-pointer by Frohling who scored a team-high 22 points.

Stormo made it 69-66 with 2 of his 15 points and the Royals added three free throws to move to 3-0 in league and 16-6 for the season.

Buena slipped to 3-1 in league.
