SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Five individuals including former NFL star Randall Cunningham were inducted into the Santa Barbara High School Dons Athletics Hall of Fame.

Former Major League Baseball player Ryan Spilborghs and tennis player Alison Hardey were also inducted as were Gerd and Peter Jordano who were honored in the special achievement category.

Cunningham led Santa Barbara High School into the 1980 CIF finals at 13-0 before losing to Long Beach Poly.

He became a star NFL quarterback for Philadelphia and Mineesota. He was a 4-time Pro Bowl selection.

Spilborghs was All-Channel League in each of his four seasons with Dons baseball. The 1997 graduate went on to play at UCSB and was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in 2002. He made his MLB debut in 2005 and played seven seasons for the Rockies.

Hardey helped Dons tennis become a girls tennis dynasty in the late 70's and early 80's. She won two individual Channel League titles and the team won four straight CIF championships.

She was an NCAA champion at Stanford.

Peter and Gerd Jordano have been dedicated philanthropists in Santa Barbara for decades. They recently led the way to raise the money to construct a new Peabody Stadium.
