SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Two Santa Barbara High School student-athletes signed their National Letter of Intent on Wednesday but they are headed in opposite directions.
Natani Drati is traveling over 3,000 miles for college as he will play safety for the Fordham University Rams.
Ben Roach will drive just down the road and attend UCSB where he will play goalkeeper for the Gauchos.
Drati caught 10 touchdown passes and intercepted three passes for the Dons this past season.
Roach is currently on the CIF No.1 ranked boys soccer team in division one as the Dons are 14-0-3.
They are champions of the Channel League and they have 13 shutouts.
