Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler left Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins with a groin injury and was replaced by Josh McCown.
Coach Marc Trestman said at halftime Cutler would not likely return to the game.
Cutler was injured when he was sacked in the second quarter. He limped off the field and went to the locker room on a cart, laboring to walk and groaning in pain in the tunnel.
The Bears were trailing the Redskins 17-10 in the second quarter.
