Westmont Basketball Teams Continue To Roll

The Westmont College women's basketball team is off to its best start in school history and improved to 14-1 with a 67-63 win over San Diego Christian on Saturday. Meanwhile the men's team improved to 11-2 overall after rolling over San Diego Christian 86-61.

For the women the Warriors shot 52 percent from the floor and Tugce Canitez led the way with 25 points while Lisa Peterson added 11 points.

The men's team was enjoyed a hot shooting night, as the Warriors shot an impressive 61 percent from the floor. Christopher Miller led the team with 19 points, while Landon Boucher also had a good night with 18 points.
