UCSB Breaks Ground On Curtice Gate

Gauchos Prepare For 2010 College Cup

Continuing their nearly $2 million in upgrades, UC Santa Barbara Athletics held a groundbreaking for the new Curtice Gate at Harder Stadium. UCSB is preparing to host their first NCAA Championship in 35 years as Harder Stadium will be the home for the 2010 NCAA Men's College Cup set for December 10-12. The Curtice Gate is named after legendary former UCSB football coach and Athletics Director Jack Curtice. The game will include a ticket-holder entrance and will have a paved plaza area that will open-up to the expanse of Harder Stadium.
