SBCC Baseball Kicks Off Season With Banquet

Santa Barbara -- The Carriage Museum in Santa Barbara played host to the Santa Barbara City College baseball team, who ushered in the season with a fundraiser and banquet Saturday night.

The banquet had a large turnout, which impressed first year head coach Jeff Walker who said it's a sign to him of the history and importance of the Vaqueros in the Santa Barbara community.

SBCC begins its season Friday Feb. 3 against Cabrillo.
