Santa Barbara allowed 21 offensive rebounds and turned the ball over 18 times but still beat Cal State Northridge 69-61 in men's basketball.

Orlando Johnson had a game-high 21 points for the Gauchos who improved to 4-1 in the Big West Conference and 9-6 overall.

The Gauchos were able to overcome their sloppy play by shooting 49.1 percent from the field compared to 33.3 percent by the Matadors.
