Gauchos Moving Orlando Johnson Back To Wing

Johnson Will Play Less Point Guard

Written by Mike Klan

Hoping to get Orlando Johnson back on track as well as the entire offense, Head coach Bob Williams is moving his star back to his wing position and out of the starting point guard position. Johnson has looked out of rhythm since moving to point guard in early January. He scored just 10 points in UCSB's 71-48 blowout loss to Long Beach State last Saturday. Nate Garth and T.J. Taylor will see the majority of the minutes at point guard. The Gauchos who are 9-7 overall and 4-2 in the Big West, play seven of their next eight games on the road starting this Thursday at UC Davis.
