Gauchos Hold Titans To 22 Percent Shooting In First Half

The Gauchos held Cal State Fullerton to just 21 first half points as they built up a 14 point lead at intermission. Santa Barbara went on to a 77-64 victory to improve to 2-0 in the Big West Conference. Orlando Johnson scored a game-high 23 points despite making just 5 of 18 shots from the field. Fullerton had won seven consecutive games. UCSB's Jaime Serna hurt his right hand after a hard fall and may have suffered a fracture. He will be examined in the morning.
