In a rematch of last year's National Championship, Ohio State once again beat UCSB in 5 sets in men's collegiate volleyball. This time the match was part of day one of the UCSB/asics Invitational. The Gauchos won the first two sets before the Buckeyes rallied to win the next three. Later in the day the Gauchos beat Cal State Northridge in 4 sets. The Gauchos will play BYU at 1:30 for fifth place.
